She could Phoe-BE the one!

Meet Phoebe, a fun-loving 3 year old pitbull/lab mix. Phoebe was found in front of an abandoned house in the south in December of 2017. Her owners had been taken by the police and she was left cold and frightened. The person who found her left her food and water for a few weeks until they were finally able to gain her trust and get a leash onto her to take her home.

Pitbull/labs are a cross between loyal and lovable. They are super smart, naturally eager to learn, and take well to training. They are generally affectionate and love their play time, so they need plenty of space to roam and exercise. They have low shedding coats and are not difficult to groom.Phoebe is very lovable and an absolute sweetheart. She is quite timid at first, but she can’t wait to get to know you!

She is fully trained and house broken and is great with children, especially her 8 year old human sister. She also currently lives with two other dogs and proudly holds the title of being the only dog in her house that hasn’t attacked a bunny.

Phoebe loves people given time, however she is afraid of male humans and it may take her a little bit longer to get used to them. She will bark and be afraid at first but if she is given enough space she will eventually get comfortable. She currently has a male in her life that she really loves, so don’t let it discourage you! Phoebe is low energy in the house but loves to play outside with other dogs and people. She has no experience with cats.

If you are looking to give a forever home to a sweet, playful girl, Phoebe is the one!
