This caramel pit bull terrier is called Merry Merry, but usually just one “Merry” by her foster parent. Despite her above average size, Merry is very gentle with children and acts accordingly, but she still tries to be a lapdog around you when she wants attention. However, with new guests in the house she needs some warming up to as she can be shy. Once she is acquainted though, she shows her jumpiness Merry is also well-behaved in the house, she responds to a multitude of commands like sit, stay, lay down, go home, and crate. Also, she has never had an accident in the house. One major characteristic of Merry is her anxiety. At the dog park, she is aware of what other dogs are doing and stays back to watch instead of participating. A lot of action and dogs can be a bit much for Merry, and this includes walks. She has leash anxiety, so a forever home and a backyard that lacks the surprises walks come with would work best for her. Merry needs a laid back home with a limited amount of stress, preferably with a family so she can receive the cuddles and love she needs to overcome her anxiety.
