McKinney has just arrived in New England and is extremely adorable! He is currently living with a foster family who has children ages 6, 11, and 14. They also have a lab that is three years old and his brother, Harber. McKinney is the one who loves to snuggle and cuddle the most.
He is very friendly and loves to make friends whether it is dogs or humans. Make sure to have lots of toys around and get ready to play with this fur-ball! McKinney melts into peoples’ arms as soon as you pick him up and is a very special pup with lots of charisma.
McKinney was found on the side of the road in Memphis by a woman who was driving and noticed the two brothers. At first, she could not tell it was two helpless puppies, but then she turned around and tried to get them in her car. It was freezing outside, and these two little fellows were shivering and starving. Despite his rough beginning, he always wags his tail and will let anyone hold or pet him. McKinney has a little more confidence than his brother and enjoys exploring—he is always looking to give kisses.
While McKinney is not fully housebroken, if you take him out regularly, he has very few to no accidents. McKinney has not yet been around cats so the foster parents do not know how he would react. He does not have many flaws for a puppy. While he does take shoes and you have to keep small toys out of his reach, he mainly wants to give as much love as possible. He is also a decent sleeper and sleeps in his crate from 10-6 am. McKinney is still learning how to walk with a leash, but he immensely enjoys being outside with children and other dogs. If you have children or an active household he would be a great addition to your life!
